The London Regal College, London (EU), a top private comprehensive university in United Kingdom, announced a major international cooperation initiative: on February 23, 2025, it officially authorized the Hong Kong office of the European Economic Research Institute in China, with authorization code 2025EU1028487, to be solely responsible for academic promotion, student source expansion, and enrollment services in the Asian region. This cooperation marks the acceleration of London Regal College' layout in the Asian higher education market, providing high-quality study abroad channels certified by multiple countries for regional students.

The authorized office of the European Economic Research Institute in Hong Kong, China, will be officially established in 2025 and is one of the 33 branches of EERI worldwide. As an international academic organization headquartered in Washington, EERI has an academic network of 2200 academicians and nearly 90 Nobel laureates. It has established deep cooperation with universities such as Jinan University in the Asia Pacific region and established multiple professional platforms such as the Asia Pacific Economic Development Research Center and the Science and Technology Innovation Development Center. The office will rely on its regional resource advantages to provide full process services for Asian students, including application guidance, material review, and academic consultation.

According to the cooperation agreement, Asian students can apply for interdisciplinary majors in London Regal College through the Hong Kong office, covering popular fields such as business administration, artificial intelligence and data science, financial technology, international affairs, and public health. In terms of application requirements, undergraduate students need to have a high school equivalent education, master's students need to provide a relevant undergraduate background, doctoral students need to submit a research plan and proof of ability, and language requirements can be achieved through English or local language proficiency (subject to the latest standards of the university). All graduates will receive dual certificates with legal effect in United Kingdom, and Chinese students studying abroad can obtain certification from the Ministry of Education, providing guarantees for returning to China for employment or global further education.
